SOUPER BOWL OF CARING (and socks)

Thank you for collecting soup and socks as part of this year's Souper Bowl of Caring. Our pantry clients enjoy all kinds of soups -- especially the cream-based, Progresso, or Chunky varieties -- as well as cans of chili (beans and no beans). We're also hoping for donations of new socks for children and adults.

Participating Sunday school classes and church groups can weigh their donations and report them at tacklehunger.org. We've attached some graphics for your PowerPoint presentation or church leaflet.

BENEFITS ASSISTANCE

A reminder that we host a benefits coordinator once a month at the Manna Food Pantry. The next date is Tuesday, February 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at 307 North Brazos. Visitors can get help with SNAP, Medicaid, Medicare Savings Program, and Texas Healthy Women. Questions? Call 979-779-3663.
